The Broken-Link Foundation

Advocacy, investigative research, search, rescue & recovery for the missing.

Our Vision

Our vision is a world where every trafficked and missing individual is found, rescued, and restored to safety and freedom. We strive to provide comprehensive support and resources to survivors, advocate for stronger laws and policies to prevent human trafficking, and collaborate with law enforcement and community partners to ensure justice is served for those who have been exploited. Through our efforts, we aim to eradicate human trafficking and bring hope and healing to those who have been affected by this heinous crime.

Our Mission

The Broken Link Foundation is dedicated to providing support, resources, and advocacy for individuals who have gone missing or have been trafficked. Our mission is to bring awareness to these issues, empower survivors, and work towards preventing future instances of missing persons and human trafficking. Through education, collaboration, and support services, we aim to bridge the gap between those who are lost and their loved ones, and to ultimately break the cycle of exploitation and victimization.

We also fight to bring equality to every missing person ensuring that they receive the same level of attention and resources in their search and investigation regardless of factors such as race, gender, or socioeconomic status. This includes providing support to their families and oved ones, as well as advocating for policies and procedures that prioritize the safety and well-being of all missing persons.

By striving for equality in the treatment of missing persons, we can work towards a more just and compassionate society for all.

Meet The Team

Kimberly Kite
Executive Director
Lead Investigative Researcher

I began my career in law enforcement, serving as a dedicated officer for several years. During my time in this role, I developed a passion for investigating and solving complex cases. I worked tirelessly to bring justice to victims and their families, and my commitment to serving the community never wavered. After some time in law enforcement, I decided to transition into a new role as an investigative researcher for the Missing. This change allowed me to focus specifically on cases involving missing persons, utilizing my skills and experience to help bring closure to families and loved ones, with an expertise in Cold Cases.

In my current role, I work diligently to gather information, analyze evidence, and follow leads in order to uncover the truth behind missing persons cases. I collaborate with law enforcement agencies, search and rescue teams, and other organizations to bring attention to these cases and aid in the search for missing individuals. I am dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected by missing persons cases, and I am committed to using my expertise to help bring answers and closure to families in need.

My work as an investigative researcher for the Missing is not just a job, but a calling that drives me to continue fighting for justice and resolution in these challenging and heartbreaking situations.

After years of investigating to locate my biological family i developed a deep passion in investigative research with missing persons and cold cases. I dedicated my time and resources to helping families find closure and answers to their loved ones’ disappearances. I worked tirelessly to uncover new leads, follow up on old ones, and connect with law enforcement agencies to push for progress in these cases. My determination and persistence paid off as I successfully helped reunite several families with their missing loved ones. The satisfaction and relief on their faces when they finally had answers was indescribable, and it fueled my passion even further. I knew that this was my calling, and I continued to work tirelessly to bring closure to as many families as I could.

I became known in the investigative community for my dedication and success in solving missing persons cases. I was approached by law enforcement agencies and organizations to assist in difficult cases, and I gladly accepted the challenge. I knew that my skills and expertise could make a difference in bringing closure and justice to those who had been waiting for answers for far too long.

Through my work, I found a sense of purpose and fulfillment that I had never experienced before. I knew that I was making a real difference in the lives of others, and that drove me to continue my work in investigative research with missing persons. I was determined to never give up until every missing person was found and every family had the closure they deserved.
